TEMPORARY POSITION (Funded Through September 30, 2024)

 

COURT PROGRAM SPECIALIST III – Grant Funded

CTA/GI

 

Description of Work:

This is a grant-funded position.  This is responsible paraprofessional work involving a high degree of contact with treatment providers, the offices of the States Attorney, Public Defender, and Clerk of the Court, Sheriff’s Office and Department of Corrections. Duties include various administrative functions in support of the presiding mental health court judge and senior management.  An employee in this position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Mental Health Court Program. The Court Program Specialist must exercise discretion in handling court matters and emphasis is placed on diplomacy, tact and poise.   Maintains data regarding participant progress in Mental Health Court database.  The CPS III will attend Mental Health Court proceedings and staffing’s.  Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Criminal Division Operation Manager. 

 

Minimum Training and Experience Required:

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university and two years of case management experience.  Progressively responsible experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required college training.  Previous mental health related experience preferred.

Pinellas County Justice Center, 14250 49th Street North, Clearwater, FL 33762

               

Salary:

$1,672.61 Bi-weekly plus Pinellas County benefits; Equivalent to State Pay Grade S40

Remote work is available for most positions with a supervisor’s recommendation, not to exceed two days per week.
