ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER #76-62
IN RE: THE ESTABLISHING OF JURY DISTRICTS IN AND FOR PINELLAS AND PASCO
COUNTIES
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Florida has duly enacted Chapter
76-114 Laws of Florida providing that the Board of County Commissioners
of any county having a population exceeding 50,000 according to the last
state or federal census and one or more locations in addition to the county
seat at which the county or circuit court sits and holds jury trials may
establish jury districts therein, and
WHEREAS, the counties of Pinellas and Pasco come within the purview of such
statute and
WHEREAS, a majority of the circuit judges of the Sixth Judicial Circuit
at a regular meeting on September 10, 1976 have determined that it is in
the best interests of the residents of Pinellas and Pasco Counties that
such jury districts be established therein, it is therefore
ORDERED that the Boards of County Commissioners of Pinellas and Pasco Counties
are hereby authorized and requested to establish jury districts therein
pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 76-114, Laws of Florida and effective
January 1, 1977.
DONE AND ORDERED in Chambers at St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida,
