In an effort to create uniformity
and consistency among the court’s Juvenile (Delinquency) sections, the Juvenile
Assessment Center, and the Juvenile Detention Center, it is necessary to
establish a uniform procedure for how juveniles who have reached their 19th
birthday are to be processed in Pinellas County. Florida Rule of Judicial Administration 2.215
vests the Chief Judge with broad authority to issue administrative orders to
promote the efficient and orderly administration of the court. The procedure listed below will help
streamline the procedure of how juveniles who have reached their 19th birthday
are processed. Accordingly, it is hereby
